Group Training

There’s power in the pack! Group dog training classes are a great way for you and your dog to learn alongside others who share the same desire to improve communication and strengthen their owner/dog relationship.

Our first priority is to ensure that our dog training classes are safe and conducive to a positive social learning experience. All students must be evaluated and approved by My Dogs Mind prior to enrollment in any of our group classes. If you are just starting out with us, schedule a consultation and we will construct an optimal training regimen based on the requirements, aspirations and limitations of both dog and owner.

My Dogs Mind group dog training classes promote socialization and interaction, often speeding the learning process and testing reliability of behaviors through real-life scenarios. By keeping our group classes small, we keep the tempo at an engaging pace while still allowing for plenty of time for each student to get personalized instruction and feedback.

Group training also provides an affordable alternative to private instruction and with many specific courses to choose from including puppy, basic obedience, intermediate, canine good citizen and therapy dog classes.

Looking for something more specific or maybe at a different time? My Dogs Mind offers Shared Interest Time (SIT). Just request a class and we will work with you to find appropriate classmates.

Maggie Lauren & Greg McLaughlin
Terence’s training methods are positive and fun. When we started training our lab Maggie with Terence, she was only eleven weeks old and full of energy. Now, she’s well behaved, well mannered, and still loves to learn. Maggie’s an active and happy dog and loves the outdoors, and with Terence’s real-world, practical training, we’re much more comfortable that Maggie will be obedient and safe wherever we go, on or off leash.
